The Lao scripts of the song aim to help Lao people and overseas Vietnamese, especially the young generation, understand more about President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people and a great friend of the Lao country and people.

Uncle Ho is a communist soldier who sacrificed his whole life struggling to liberate the oppressed nation, so that the people can live in freedom and happiness. He is a shining example and a great leader, not only to the Vietnamese people, and to the Lao people, but also to the world.

Therefore, writing the song lyrics in the language, artist Touane Mouane Chanh tried to keep the melody, accurately conveying the content of the song by composer Thuan Yen for Lao listeners and overseas Vietnamese in Laos about Uncle Ho.

“There are many good works about Uncle Ho, but few in the Lao language,” said Nguyen Minh Chau, an overseas Vietnamese in Dongpalan village, Vientiane. “When the song is translated into the Lao language and performed in Laos, it is applauded by Lao people and helps disseminate Uncle Ho’s ideology and morality to Lao people and overseas Vietnamese.”

Ms. Mayheuan Seunhong, a Lao woman in Vientiane, said that listening to the song in the Lao language helped her understand thoroughly the contribution as well as sacrifice of Uncle Ho to the Vietnamese people and mankind. “Uncle Ho made great contributions not only to the Vietnamese people, but also to the Lao people,” she said. “Thank you Uncle Ho – An immense love”.

“I am very happy as my song helps Lao people understand more about Uncle, the leader who spent his whole life for the happiness of the Vietnamese people, Laos’ and other countries’ revolutions, contributing to increase the special friendship between Laos and Vietnam,” said artist Touane  Mouane Chanh.

Belonging to a Vietnamese family with 5 generations living in Laos and spending years through Lao country’s important changes, Nguyen Minh Chau said that Lao people understood that the Lao revolution’s achievements had been gained partly thanks to the Vietnamese revolution’s guideline, solidarity and sacrifice. “Everyone knows that Uncle Ho is the teacher of the later leaders of the Lao revolution, Party and State,” he added./.
