Vietnam’s landscape in young Russian painters’ talented hands

More than 30 paintings of Vietnamese landscapes by two young Russian painters, Plotnikov Evgraf Evegenievich and Shageeve Rita, on display at Lilac Art Gallery in Hanoi, have left deep impressions on art lovers.

The paintings were painted in watercolors, tempera and acrylic paints by the two painters on their journey around Vietnam. Through the works, the authors want to convey to the image of a beautiful Vietnam and places not to be missed when coming to Vietnam.

“I have traveled to many countries in the world, and have done sightseeing at many beautiful landscapes, but the beautiful scenery in Vietnam left me most impressed, creating inspiration for art. The country of Vietnam has hidden beauty, the contrast between classical and modern features makes artists like us really want to explore,” said painter Plotnikov Evgraf Evegenievich.

"In the coming time, I will go to the areas with wild natural landscapes in Vietnam, to create many works for painting lovers," added painter Plotnikov Evgraf Evegenievich.

The painting exhibition "Russian painters and Vietnamese colors" lasts until December 15th.

The exhibition attracts a large number of visitors.
