The Vietnamese-American Nail Association (VANA), a non-profit organization serving the interests of fingernail professionals in the US, has debuted in California.
With its head office in Orange County, California, USA, home to a large population of Vietnamese-American nail professionals, VANA is uniquely positioned to provide information in English and Vietnamese on topics such as nail care education, product use, regulatory and legal compliance, and health issues.
The association aims to establish a communication link between its members and government agencies, as well as promote educational programs and voluntary compliance with federal and state laws. It will also disseminate information and educational materials related to scientific, social, economic, legal, and political developments in the national beauty salon industry.
Currently, nearly 80 percent of nail professionals in California are of Vietnamese origin.
