Binh Thanh district launches tree planting festival in gratitude to Uncle Ho

The Binh Thanh District Women's Union recently held a ceremony to launch the tree planting festival to express eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho and the movement "one tree for every woman's family - one tree for each facility" to successfully celebrate the 12th National Women’s Congress for the 2022 – 2027 period.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Chairwoman of the Binh Thanh District Women's Union, emphasized that to carry out this movement meaningfully and effectively, the women’s establishments need to be proactive and creative in implementation. Each member will be a pioneer, active in implementing the movement by doing specific things such as planting flowers and ornamental plants in front of or in their houses.
On this occasion, the organizing board also presented plants to Ward 13, some households and delegates attended the ceremony.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the leaders, delegates and women participated in planting trees at the campus of the Cultural House of Quarter 2 in Ward 13./.
