The move starts the tree planting season in order to strive to achieve Dak Nong’s goal of planting nearly 3 million trees in 2022; participate in forest development, concentrated forestation, scattered green tree planting, agro-forestry planting, and sustainable forest economic development in the province.

Deputy Chairwoman of the Dak Nong People’s Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh said that the activity aims to remember the merits and great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; and show infinite respect and eternal gratitude to him.

According to the Dak Nong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, localities in the province registered to plant more than 2.8 million trees in 2022.

For localities with National Highway 14 and National Highway 28 passing through, and localities with land fund and site conditions suitable for three-leaf pine trees, they must develop plans, ensuring the goal of striving to plant about 1 million three-leaf pine trees. The localities include Dak Song, Dak Glong, Tuy Duc, Dak R'lap districts and Gia Nghia city./.
