STADA Pymepharco has been a reliable and important pillar of the Vietnamese healthcare system for more than 30 years and has strong growth plans for the future. With the opening of our new headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, we will further expand and grow our employee base. As a key provider of Generic prescription drugs for the Vietnamese people, STADA will now further accelerate and launch a broad product range of Consumer Healthcare products. “We will continue to invest and to expand our business in Vietnam," said STADA CEO Peter Goldschmidt.
The grand opening also highlights STADA Vietnam's commitment to exporting high-quality products, "Made in Vietnam" with the prestigious EU-GMP certificate to the global market, fostering growth in the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry. As a reliable supplier of medicines and healthcare products, STADA’s purpose of Caring for People's Health as a Trusted Partner has guided us throughout this journey. Together with our valued partners, including suppliers, distributors, doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, we have worked tirelessly to maintain a steady supply of medicines, demonstrating our dedication to the well-being of the Vietnamese people.
The heart of STADA in Vietnam is our production facility in Tuy Hoa in the province of Phu Yen. Several billion tablets per year are produced and there are strong plans for further growth. The sites were originally built for our Vietnam supply. Now the new STADA Vietnam plant has also been approved for supply to Europe by the European Authorities. "This production site plays a crucial role in avoiding shortages of medicines in Europe based on the dedication and strong engagement of our highly-qualified Vietnamese employees," said STADA CEO Peter Goldschmidt proudly.
“This accomplishment can be attributed to the steadfast dedication and proficiency exhibited by our highly skilled Vietnamese workforce. Concurrently, the grand opening of our new office in Ho Chi Minh City marks a significant milestone, facilitating the expansion and fortification of our workforce”, said Andriy Samoylovych, General Manager of STADA Pymepharco.
“The investment serves as compelling evidence that Vietnam represents a favorable and appropriate destination for high-value production within an ambitious industry. Additionally, it demonstrates how the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (FTA) facilitates and encourages German investments in the country. This symbiotic partnership yields substantial advantages and benefits for the Vietnamese people”, said Marko Walde, Chief Representative, AHK in Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
One of the highlights of the opening event was a donation, in which STADA Pymepharco Vietnam gifted one artificial kidney filtration machine to Phu Yen General Hospital. This activity reflects STADA Vietnam's commitment to accompanying the Vietnamese healthcare sector in providing superior care and be a very caring partner of the Province to the Vietnamese community./.
