In the localities, out of 63 provinces and cities, there are only 9 provinces where vaccination rates among people of eligible age are less than 90%, including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Quang Binh, Ha Giang and Hoa Binh.

This shows that the requirement of the National Steering Committee on November 7 on organizing vaccination in the Southern region and the Central Highlands, ensuring that the first dose is given within 5 days for people over 18 years old, has been actively taken.

Specifically, in the South, on average, the percentage of people in the age group receiving at least 1 dose of vaccine reached 100% in all provinces and cities.

According to data from the Ministry of Health on November 15, up to now, the rate of injection of at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the country reached about 87% and full two dose vaccination reached 47% of the population aged 18 years or more.

In terms of vaccination for children aged 12-17, up to now, 16 provinces and cities have implemented vaccination against COVID-19 for this age group, including Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Soc Trang, An Giang, Vinh Long, Binh Duong, Kien Giang, Ca Mau and Hau Giang, using more than 1.4 million doses.

So far, the country has purchased and imported through contracts, commitments and agreements nearly 200 million doses. It has received about 125 million doses and the Ministry of Health has allocated about 113 million doses./.
