(CPV) – Democrat Joe Biden secured the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the US 2020 presidential election and become this country’s 46th President, major US media like CNN and NBC reported on November 7.

Earlier, in a speech in Delaware state, he confirmed he would become the following President of the US.

Joe Biden's victory is also a historic event, as it will make Donald Trump one of the few US Presidents who only worked for one term. The most recent was President George HW Bush, who lost to Bill Clinton in the 1992 election.
