Prime Minister visits Hanoi fallen soldiers’ families

To mark the 71st anniversary of the Day for Wounded and Fallen Soldiers (July 27th), on July 26th, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited the families of fallen soldiers Trinh Dinh Khoi and Dang Thuy Tram in Hanoi.

He visited and wished good health to elder Vu Thi Nhan, 91 years old, in Minh Khai ward, Hai Ba Trung district, the mother of fallen soldier Trinh Dinh Khoi. Born in an intellectual family, fallen soldier Trinh Dinh Khoi bravely sacrificed himself at the Quang Tri battlefield when he was only 19. So far, his remains have not yet been found.

After that, he came to and burnt incense to commemorate fallen soldier Dang Thuy Tram at her family, and gave encouragement to her mother, Doan Ngoc Tram.

Fallen soldier and doctor Dang Thuy Tram was born in 1942 and worked at Duc Pho district hospital in Quang Ngai province. She sacrificed herself in 1970 when she was working.

Visiting her family, the Prime Minister expressed his deep gratitude towards heroic fallen soldiers, the nation’s elite who sacrificed themselves for national independence and freedom.

He confirmed that the Party, State and people always remembered the service of heroic fallen soldiers and cared for families with meritorious service to the revolution.

On the same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a ceremony to award certificates of merit for 483 fallen soldiers’ families in Hanoi./.
