Thanh Ha pottery recognized as national intangible cultural heritage

Thanh Ha pottery village is located on the bank of the peaceful and poetic Thu Bon river. Experiencing ups and downs over time and history, Thanh Ha pottery village seemed to be forgotten at times. However, with the enthusiasm of local people, the village gradually recovered in the economic and cultural development of Hoi An ancient town.

It now has 33 production households with about 80 employees, including five outstanding artisans and one skilled worker. Its products mainly serve local people and tourists with small and sophisticated products. In addition, some products are also manufactured to serve the construction of architecture, hotels and restaurants.

From the 10th day of the 7th lunar month every year, the anniversary of Thanh Ha pottery village has become a specific community cultural activity of the villagers and tourists./.
