According to Vietnam News Agencies, Trade Counsellor in Algeria Hoang Duc Nhuan has been busy in Oran to attend the opening of the 8th International Exhibition of Fishing and Aquaculture (SIPA 2019) and promote trade and investment with Algeria.

The SIPA 2019 was launched on November 6th in the presence of Algerian Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fishing Cherif Omari and will run through November 9th.

Later the same day, Nhuan met with Vice President of the Oran Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Oran) Kehal Nacer and representatives of some member businesses. Both sides introduced to each other their potential and advantages and showed their interest in further beefing up the bilateral trade and investment.

Nhuan invited companies in Oran and Algeria in general to upcoming international expos in Vietnam, such as Vietnam Expo and Vietnam Food Expo.

According to Trade Counsellor Hoang Duc Nhuan, Vietnam and Algeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding in fisheries and aquaculture in 2010. Seafood remains in Vietnam’s Top 5 export items to Algeria. Vietnam annually exports to Algeria USD9 million - USD10 million worth of seafood, mostly frozen pangasius, basa, tuna and shrimp

Data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs showed that Vietnam’s export to Algeria totalled USD135 million in the first three quarters of this year with the main items including coffee, metal products, mobile phones, seafood, pepper, rice, clothing and footwear./.

Hanoi, Nha Trang among top 10 best Asian honeymoon locations

Vietnamese capital of Hanoi and the central island of Nha Trang have been listed among the top 10 Asian honeymoon destinations by the Travel website.

Vietnam’s capital Hanoi came second in the Travel’s list with the website noting: “It's a great place to enjoy a romantic trip, experience Vietnamese culture, learn about their history, and samples some delicious food.”

Meanwhile, the website described Vietnamese island of Nha Trang as an ideal destination for vacation.

Other places that made the list are El Nido (the Philippines), Koh Rong island (Cambodia), Tea Country (Sri Lanka), Luang Prabang (Laos), Kyoto (Japan), Singapore, Bali (Indonesia), and Chiang Mai (Thailand).

National flag carrier to launch two direct routes to China’s Shenzhen

The Vietnam national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced it will open two new routes linking Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi with China’s Shenzhen on November 27th and 28th.

The carrier will run three flights on the Ho Chi Minh city - Shenzhen route a week using Airbus A321. Flights will take off from the southern hub at 22:45 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, and the Chinese locality at 3:35 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Meanwhile, there will be four round trips on the Hanoi - Shenzhen route. Flights will depart from Noi Bai International Airport at 23:55 every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and Shenzhen International Airport at 3:35 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

These are the 15th and 16th routes of the airline to China./.
