This is the first such exhibition in Vietnam, but atomic-bombing-related exhibitions have been held by the Nagasaki national peace memorial hall for the atomic bomb victims in many foreign countries over the past 12 years. In Southeast Asia alone, Malaysia was the first destination.

Through the exhibition, the organizers hope to convey the most vivid images of the devastation of atomic bombings 72 years ago to people both in Japan and abroad, to remind future generations to learn from history and to build a peaceful world free from nuclear weapons.

On this occasion, a talk show with a male survivor (83 years old) of the bombing of Nagasaki was held after the opening ceremony./.
