(CPV) - The Vietnamese Students’ Association in Korea will coordinate with the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Chung Ang University to organize the 3th Annual Conference of Vietnamese Young Scientists (ACVYS2016) on May 29th.
ACVYS is Science conference held by the Vietnam Student Association in Korea for the first time in 2010 in Korea. This is not only a forum for Vietnam’s scientists to manifest their new researches, but also for meeting, learning and exchanging knowledge, improving awareness about the important role of science research, contributing to development of science – technology of Vietnam in integration and innovation period.
The conference will be hosted by the Vietnam Student Association in Korea, with collaboration of the Vietnam Student Association in Chung – Ang University, under auspices of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea and the Office of Science and Technology in Korea – Ministry of Science and Technology.
The conference bring young scientists in Korea a chance to manifest their latest research results, to share passion and experiences in research science in many fields, such as: life science, Biological technology, Mechanical Engineering, Construction and Environment, Information, Electronics and Telecommunications.
Moreover, prominent topics regarding the East Sea will be presented by a representative of the Vietnam Embassy in Korea. This special section will contribute authentic perspectives about the current situation of Vietnamese islands and maritime sovereignty. These efforts will raise awareness of maritime issues, and hence actively contribute to the protection of Vietnam’s sovereignty.
The event is expected to attract more than 400 Vietnamese students in Korea as presenters and discussion participants. It will also serve as a connection between Vietnamese students that are studying and researching in Korea and experts, scientists, and Korean corporations. /.
