Vietnamese women in Romania mark International Women’s Day

The Vietnamese Embassy, Overseas Vietnamese Association and Vietnamese Women Club in Romania organized an event to mark the International Women’s Day and 1,978th anniversary of the Trung Sisters' Uprising, in Bucharest on March 12th.

At the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Romania Tran Thanh Cong praised the contributions of the women to activities of the overseas Vietnamese community in Romania, affirmed that Vietnamese women in Romania present an image of success, responsibility and self-confidence, and sent best wishes to them on the International Women’s Day.
The participants enjoyed Vietnamese dishes and an art program performed by members of the Vietnamese Women Club, staff of the embassy and overseas Vietnamese students./.
