(CPV) - Viettel Telecom is actively completing a wide range of ICT infrastructure for APEC Economic Leaders' Week (AELW) 2017, scheduled to take place in Central Da Nang city from November 6th-11th.

The most important event draws the attendance of leaders from 21 APEC economic members, along with around 10,000 participants, media workers and world leading entrepreneurs.
The APEC National Committee has chosen Viettel as ICT provider for five destinations in Da Nang, including Internet, telecommunications, mobile, fixed line, network, LAN, wifi, TV, computers and printers for the Press Centre; about 3,000 4G SIM for reporters, domestic and international participants; as well as a 24/24 hour readiness in case of emergency.
Since May, the Vietnam Military-run Telecommunications group’s subsidiary has buried 44 communications cable lines underground, equivalent to 100 km of fiber optic cables. All procedures are set to finish by October 27th.
Mr Hoang Son, Viettel Deputy General Director, noted that his unit would do its utmost to serve the event in the best way as the nation was chosen to host APEC two times, previously in 2006 in the capital Hanoi./.
