Thousands of laborers to work in RoK

More than 16,800 candidates will join a Korean language exam on June 17th-18th, in accordance with the Employment Permit System (EPS) program, to be selected to work in the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has reported.

The candidates will compete at four sites in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh cities.

After the exam, some 3,600 laborers will be recruited to be sent to the RoK to work in manufacturing, construction, agriculture and fisheries.

In addition, laborers working in the agricultural sector, to be selected from poor districts, will participate in an exam in August after receiving Korean language training support. 

According to the MOLISA, each candidate, aged 18-39, must pay an exam fee of USD24 and satisfy MOLISA requirements on working discipline in the RoK./.
