(CPV) - Lotteria Vietnam and Phu Nhuan Sports Center (Ho Chi Minh city) on December 12th signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the renovation of its football ground.
This activity is in line with the success of “Lotteria Challenge Cup”, the annual tournament organized by Lotteria since 2013 to develop children football movement in Vietnam.

Accordingly, Lotteria Vietnam (a subsidiary of the Republic of Korea food giant Lotte Group) will provide USD50,000 for the replacement of artificial turf and lighting system, as well as renovation of the existing drainage system and toilets. The project is scheduled to be completed in January 2017.
The two sides have also committed to promote the free exchange of information and ideas, thus increasing mutual understanding to drive efficiency in discovering, training and coaching football talents of children football movement in the City during 2017 - 2020 period.
CEO of Lotteria Vietnam, Mr. Kim Dong Jin, expressed his hope that the equipment renovation of Phu Nhuan football ground would provide a better place for the development of the future talented football players.
So far, Lotteria Challenge Cup has become an exciting and familiar playground for Vietnamese children who love football, leading to the formation of many junior football teams in big cities. Thanks to that, many young football talent was discovered and retrained to become a future star for the king sport in the nation.
Earlier, the football ground at Hanoi city-based Hoan Kiem Sports Center was upgraded in 2014 under the same program./.
