A World heritage sites discovery contest in Vietnam and ASEAN is taking place from August 25th to November 23rd.

The contest is co-organised by the Hanoi Cultural Fund under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Preservation and Support Fund for Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage.
It marks Vietnam’s 20th anniversary of ASEAN membership and welcome the ASEAN Economic Community establishment at the end of this year.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Loi, Vice Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said the contest will create a helpful and interesting playing field for those who love to discover about the World heritage sites in Vietnam as well as in ASEAN which have been recognized by the UNESCO.
Besides, it is a good opportunity for the World heritage sites to receive interests from the public, thereby contributing to advertise and develop domestic and ASEAN tourism.
Genres of the contest range from projects, short films, reporting, graphic videos or pictures spotlighting initiatives and good examples of conservation activities./.
