Arts and handicrafts fair “Vietnamese Tet Home” concludes

(CPV) - The arts and handicrafts fair themed “Vietnamese Tet Home” jointly held by Hang Da Plaza, Hang Da Galleria and the Management Board of Hanoi’s Old Quarter in cooperation with Gallery at 39A Ly Quoc Su, has concluded in Hanoi.

The event was organized with the desire to contribute to the preservation of ancient Tet features in harmony with Tet nowadays.

The fair introduced to the public a space of Tet with about 200 paintings, 200 works of ceramics, 50 ao dai and hundreds of delicate handicrafts suitable for decorating and refreshing the home of each family for the Tet holidays.

“Vietnamese Tet Home 2016” included five main activities: Ancient “ao dai” fashion display with innovative designs; Display of pottery from famous traditional craft villages and family handicraft items; New Year paintings; traditional cuisine; and an exhibition of 30 selected spring-edition newspapers.

Especially, visitors had a chance to interact with artisans at the art show who created the displays of hand made embroidery, pottery, Dong Ho paintings, and traditional cuisine./.
