15th “Love songs in border area” program organized in Binh Phuoc province

During the program, songs praising the patriotism, traditional friendship of the two peoples of Vietnam and Cambodia, and border soldiers were performed by singers and artists from Binh Phuoc province, Ho Chi Minh city and neighboring provinces.

In addition, vivid reportages reflected the activities of border forces of provinces in performing their tasks of firmly defending the sovereignty and security of the national border, helping people in border areas to develop their economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, stabilize life and cultivate the friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.

The program has been alternately organized every two months since early 2013 by provincial Radio and Television Stations and headquarters of provincial Border Guard of Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Dak Nong, Kien Giang, An Giang, Dong Thap, Long An, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Lam Dong provinces, and is broadcast live on these provincial television channels. The 16th program will be held in Long An province.

On this occasion, the organizing board presented VND70 million to the “Shelter for soldiers in the border area” foundation of the headquarters of the Binh Phuoc provincial Border Guard./.
