Program explores culture of Raglai ethnic group

The management of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism coordinated with the Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a program titled “Chapi dream” to introduce the culture of the Raglai ethnic minority group.
The program is in the framework of activities in June 2017, under the theme “Children and ethnic traditional culture” in Dong Mo tourism area of Son Tay town, Hanoi with diverse cultural activities such as folk singing and dancing, folk festival and photo exhibition on Ninh Thuan province.
The event contributed to promoting exchange and solidarity among the community of ethnic minority groups. It was also an opportunity for minority group members to introduce their culture to tourists, helping the public be closer to the traditional culture of the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
To help visitors understand more about Chapi musical instrument, artisan Ka Tor Doi from Raglai ethnic group, reinstate the space for creating and performing Chapi musical instrument at a festival.
