The features of Thai ethnic women’s traditional costumes in the central province of Nghe An have been preserved for many generations.
For Thai ethnic women, the skirt is not only their custom but also a cultural symbol. In the past, every Thai ethnic woman knew how to weave brocade and make their skirts by hand.
Each skirt expresses the weaver’s creativity. People also see decorations and colour of each skirt to recognize which group of Thai they belong to.
