Hue Festival 2018 to see 20 international artistic troupes

Hue Festival 2018 will take place in Hue city, the central province of Thua Thien - Hue, from April 27th to May 2nd with the participation of 20 international artistic troupes.
The information was released at a press briefing held in Hanoi on December 19th by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Information and Communications and Thua Thien - Hue provincial People’s Committee.
Diverse activities such as outstanding artistic performances, exhibition, traditional boat racing, gastronomy festival, calligraphy, fair and seminar will be held during the event.
Under the theme “"Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development, Hue - One Destination, Five World Heritages," the event is an opportunity for Vietnamese people and international friends to understand more about Hue royal and traditional artistic cultural quintessence.
Especially, visitors will have good chance to study and experience specific values of five world heritages recognized by UNESCO, including the complex of Hue monuments, Hue royal music, wood-blocks of the Nguyen dynasty, poetry on Hue royal architecture, and Bai Choi singing./.
