Among the more than 54 ethnic minority groups in Vietnam, the K'ho and Chau Ma are two of the few that still preserve many unique features of their traditional costumes.
With only weaving frames made of wooden rods, bamboo bars or bamboo tubes, the two ethnic groups create colorful and beautiful brocade products with many uses such as skirts, bags and decorative items. Local women are considered skilled technicians in the field of creating dyed colors, mainly using materials widely available at their living place.
