The 4th Hoi An International Food Festival wrapped up in Hoi An ancient city in the central province of Quang Nam on April 14th.
The four-day festival attracted ten chefs from Germany, France, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.

Apart from having the opportunity to try Hoi An’s traditional dishes cooked with different styles, visitors were also treated to art performance held every night during the event.
Hoi An was once a renowned international trade port in the 17th century where ships from Japan, China, and European countries docked to exchange wares.
Covering 60 sq.km, Hoi An has 22.5 sq.km of agriculture and forest land and 11 sq.km of lakes and channels.
Hoi An city was honoured by the World Association of Chefs as Vietnam’s Capital of Culinary Arts and Cuisine.
Hoi An’s cuisine culture has been attractive to Vietnamese and foreign visitors. Hoi An food has also been honoured by prestigious magazines and websites. Meanwhile, cooking in Hoi An was also named among the top 10 international travel experiences by Lonely Planet./.
