Malaysia won championship of ASEAN + 3 singing contest

Malaysian singer Rosario Bianis became the champion of the 2019 ASEAN + 3 singing contest organized in the northern province of Quang Ninh from July 26th to 29th.

Two second prizes went to Tran Hong Nhung from Vietnam and Aicelle Santos from the Philippines; Olivia Christina from Indonesia and Eint Chit from Myanmar were honoured with third prizes.
Organised by Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), the contest drew the participation of 22 contestants from ASEAN member states and four invited singers from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.

It was open for professional pop singers aged between 18-35, aiming to promote understanding and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and other nations in the region, while discovering and supporting the development of young musical talents in the ASEAN community.
The songs were performed in different languages, but all feature beautiful melodies honoring the life, people and friendship between ASEAN countries./.
