The fifth Dragon Dance Festival will take place from 08h30 to 11h30 at the intersection of Dinh Tien Hoang and Hang Dau streets, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, on October 6th.

As part of a series cultural activities to mark the 65th anniversary of the capital liberation (October 10th), the event will draw the participation of dragon dancers from 15 districts, including Hoang Mai, Hai Ba Trung, Hoan Kiem, Thanh Oai, Gia Lam, Dong Anh, Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem, Ha Dong, Cau Giay, Long Bien, Dan Phuong, Chuong My, Thanh Tri and Ba Dinh.
The Organizing Board will present 17 prizes to the winning teams. Apart from the first, second, third, and consolation prizes, there are prizes for the most well-decorated dragon, and the most creative dance.
Following the dragon dances and an award ceremony, participants will parade around Hoan Kiem lake, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere for both local people and foreign tourists./.
