The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has requested the People's Committees of communes, wards and townships in 63 provinces and cities nationwide to hang up posters on COVID-19 prevention and control to raise public awareness of the epidemic.
The 14 selected posters stood out from more than 100 entries sent to a contest launched by the Department of Grassroots Culture in mid-March.
All the entries contain comprehensible and relevant messages calling on the whole of society to stand together and unite to repel the disease.
They also disseminate necessary and practical information on the prevention of COVID-19, including regularly wearing masks and washing hands frequently with soap and water, avoiding crowded gatherings, and going to the nearest medical stations for advice, examination and treatment in case of fever, coughing or shortness of breath.
