Diverse activities celebrate 130th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s birth

A television program linking five localities will be broadcast live on VTV1 in the night of May 18th to mark the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19th).

The program will include musical performance, reportage, documentary, MV, and direct exchange with audiences and witnesses at home and abroad.

The higlight will be demonstrated by a combination of five live broadcast points, including localities that bear the impression of the President’s life and revolutionary career: Hanoi (President Ho Chi Minh's relics site in the Presidential palace); the central province of Nghe An (Kim Lien special national monument); Ho Chi Minh city (Nha Rong warf); the northern province of Tuyen Quang (Tan Trao special national monument); and the southern province of Dong Thap (Van Mieu park, Cao Lanh city).

On this occasion, an exhibition on the President will also take place from May 15th to the end of July, at Vietnam Military History Museum at No.28A Dien Bien Phu street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

It introduces typical images and documents on the special leadership, direction and affection of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnam People's Army; the attention of the Party, State and military leaders in "Promoting the studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

In particular, images, documents and exhibits will be regularly updated on the website of Vietnam Military History Museum at http://btlsqsvn.org.vn./.
