ASEAN friendship festival to take place in Hanoi

The ASEAN friendship festival entitled “Colors of ASEAN" is taking place at Thang Long imperial citadel in Hanoi from August 29 to September 1 to strengthen the friendship that exists among ASEAN peoples and their international friends.

The opening ceremony takes place on the evening of August 29, beginning with the ribbon-cutting for the "Colors of ASEAN" cultural exhibition.
On this occasion, dozens of booths showcasing products from Vietnam, as well as other ASEAN countries, will offer souvenirs for young people and families attending the event.
Booths replicating Hanoi’s famous Old Quarter, with installations of cyclo rickshaws, clanging trams, flower-laden bicycles, and food stalls are expected to introduce the capital’s images to international friends.
The function will also feature such activities as calligraphy performances, a children's drawing contest, and a night tour of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel./.
