On February 18, Thanh Hoa provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to review and award prizes to the winners of the multiple-choice contest “Uncle Ho with Thanh Hoa Province – Thanh Hoa Province follows Uncle Ho’s teachings” and the writing contest “Excellent examples of following Uncle Ho’s teachings”.

Launched from January 3 to February 14, the multiple choice contest attracted a large number of people from all walks of life, especially students, officials, officers and armed forces. It drew the participation of 233,141 with more than 1.4 million website hits.
At the closing conference, the Organizing Committee of the provincial competition awarded 6 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 18 third prizes, and 30 consolation prizes to individuals; and presented awards to 8 teams with outstanding achievements in leadership, direction and implementation participating in the contest.
After three months of implementation, the writing contest attracted the attention of reporters, editors, and collaborators of local press agencies. Hundreds of news, articles and reports have vividly reflected new models, good, creative and effective ways of collectives and individuals in "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics and lifestyle”, outstanding achievements of Thanh Hoa province in recent years and the roadmap towards building a model province as Uncle Ho’s teachings.
The jury selected 24 works of the best quality and Thanh Hoa provincial Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education evaluated and awarded 3 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 7 C prizes, and 9 Consolation prizes to authors and groups./.
