On the afternoon of March 27, the northern Hai Duong provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to present prizes to winners of of the "Hai Duong Aspiration and Development" Press Award 2024 and launch the award 2025. The event took place on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of late Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang (April 2, 1904 - April 2, 2024).
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper; representatives of the Party Central Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education; Ministry of Information and Communications; Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; members of the Standing Committee of provincial Party Committees and leaders of several provincial Party Committee’s Commissions of Popularization and Education; Representative of the family of late Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang.

On Hai Duong province's side, there were comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Van Hieu, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of provincial departments; leaders and reporters from central and Hai Duong province press agencies.
370 entries from 131 authors and author groups from 29 central and local press agencies were sent to the "Hai Duong aspiration and development" press award. Through the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 174 works for judging, including 25 print newspaper articles, 57 visual newspaper works, 89 online newspaper works and 3 audio newspaper works.

According to the jury's assessment, the works participating in the award are of high quality. Many works closely follow the theme, have a revealing nature, and have promoted the image, potential, strengths, products, and development strategies of Hai Duong province; mechanisms and policies to attract investment of the province; multi-faceted information in all fields, contributing to promoting the image of Hai Duong so that the province can increasingly develop, gradually realizing the development aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong province.
With the spirit of fairness, objectivity and responsibility, the Judging Council selected 27 excellent works to award, including 3 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 6 C prizes and 15 consolation prizes; There are no special prizes.
