Concert features three of Beethoven's most famous works

A concert entitled ‘A night of Beethoven’, featuring three of Beethoven's most famous works, including Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, op. 67; Piano concerto No. 5 “Emperor” in E-flat Major, op. 73; and Coriolan overture, op. 62, will take place in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City on February 18.

The event will be held by the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) to kick start its 2023 spring programme.
Victory, faith, joy, and heroic sound is the distinctive spirit of the musical genius Beethoven, who overcame a great adversity for music-makers, which is the disease of deafness, to make a special impression in the music history of the world with his treasure trove of works.
The classical works will be brought to the stage under performance of excellent guest pianist Liao Hsin-Chiao from Chinese Taipei under the baton of conductor Tran Vuong Thach.
Curtains will be raised at 8pm at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House, 07 Cong Truong Lam Son Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1. Admissions to the concert are priced from 400,000 VND to 750,000 VND./.
