Dong Nai: Phu Dong Health Festival attracts over 6,000 students

The Dong Nai provincial Department of Culture and Training on March 11 opened the 11th Phu Dong Health Festival with the participation of 6,000 students in the province.

The event was attended by schools from district and city levels, creating an atmosphere of solidarity in competition and spreading the movement of health training following the example of the great Uncle Ho.
As many as 88 units attended the festival, including 71 high schools, 6 vocational education and continuing education centers, and 11 education and training departments of districts and cities. They competed in 16 subjects and some subjects that have been competed at the provincial level before.
Through 10 times of organization, the Phu Dong Health Festival has seen positive changes in the school sports movement to improve students’ physical strength and physical fitness. Some students have become professional athletes who were selected for national teams and made high achievements, bringing honor to the country’s sports./.
