Dong Son Art Exhibition contributes to the activities of Vietnam and Switzerland to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (October 11, 1971 - October 11, 2021).

Dong Son Art exhibition at Barbier-Mueller Museum, Switzerland 

The Dong Son Art Exhibition was officially opened on the evening of September 28 at the Barbier-Mueller Museum in Geneva (Switzerland) with the participation of many Swiss, international and Vietnamese friends in Geneva. It was a chance for the two countries to tighten cooperation, consolidate friendship and promote Vietnam’s culture to people in Switzerland.

Ambassador Le Thi Tuyet Mai, Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to Geneva,
made a speech at the opening ceremony of the event.

A collection of bronze items belonging to Dong Son culture (c. 5th-1st century BC) - a Bronze Age culture in ancient Vietnam in the north and north central regions is on display at an exhibition.

Ms. Laurence Mattet, Director of Musee Barbier-Mueller, introduced about Dong Son Art Exhibition.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors until February 28, 2022.
