Entrance fees to Hanoi Museum and two relics of Hanoi Old Quarter

(CPV) - On December 10, at the 20th Session of the Hanoi People's Council (the 16th tenure), delegates approved the Resolution regulating additional fees for visiting scenic spots, historical relics, cultural works and museums in Hanoi.
Hanoi Museum to  collect entrance fees from January 1, 2025. 

Accordingly, fees will be charged to domestic and foreign organizations and individuals visiting the Hanoi Museum and the relic at 22 Hang Buom, the Heritage House at 87 Ma May.

There will be no fees for people with severe disabilities and children under 16 years old.

The Hanoi Museum will collect entrance fees from January 1, 2025.

A 50% fee reduction is offered to people with disabilities, the elderly, students, trainees, and students aged 16 and over, and those who are entitled to preferential policies on cultural enjoyment.

Fees are not applied on Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, November 23.

Hanoi Museum will not collect fees on International Museum Day, May 18.

The fee collection at Hanoi Museum is divided into 2 phases. Phase 1, from January 1, 2025 until the completion of the exhibition project, the fee is 30,000 VND/visit/guest; Phase 2, after the completion of the exhibition project, the fee is 50,000 VND/visit/guest.

The relics at 22 Hang Buom and Heritage House No. 87 Ma May are 20,000 VND/visit/guest.

The units directly organizing the fee collection are the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter; Hanoi Museum.

The rate left for the collection unit is 90%. The remaining 10% is paid to the state budget. The time to implement the fee collection level is from January 1, 2025./.
