Female bank officials pay tribute to Uncle Ho at Kim Lien Special National Monument

On March 3, the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam held an incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to Uncle Ho at the Kim Lien Special National Monument on the occasion of the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and the 1984th anniversary of the Trung Sisters Uprising (40 - 2024).

On this occasion, a talk on the topic "Female leaders in the banking industry learning Ho Chi Minh's leadership style" was also organized.

Attending the announcement ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Hong, member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; and Dao Minh Tu, Standing Deputy Governor of the State Bank.

On Nghe An province's side, there was comrade Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Party Central Committee, secretary      of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the Kim Lien Special National Monument, representatives of the Party Committee, leaders of the State Bank of Vietnam, affiliated units and nearly 300 officials and union members representing more than 170,000 labor union members worldwide offered flowers and incense to commemorate, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of our Party and people.

In recent years, the State Bank has done a good job of managing and administering monetary policy, controlling inflation, stabilizing the macroeconomy, especially implementing the Banking Industry Development Strategy until 2025, orientation to 2030; Proactively promulgate and direct the implementation of Directives and Resolutions related to the fields of currency, credit, banking, policies, programs and action plans of the Party and the State related to women, for the advancement and development of women in the new era.

Also at the Kim Lien Relic Area, the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam organized a talk on "Female leaders in the banking industry learning Ho Chi Minh's leadership style" presented by Professor Hoang Chi Bao.

Currently, female union members and workers always make up a high proportion (more than 50%) of the industry's workforce. Regardless of position, female banking industry workers always strive to complete their tasks well./.
