First international jazz festival to take place in Nha Trang city

The first international jazz festival will take place in the central city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province, from April 27 to May 1 promote cultural exchanges among Vietnamese people and introduce modern European music to Vietnamese audiences.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee to organize the event with the participation of of various famous domestic and international jazz artists.
This comes after the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism co-ordinated with the European Commission Delegation in Vietnam and seven European Embassies of Denmark, Wallpnia-Brussels in Belgium, France, Argentina, Luxembourg, Germany, and Bulgaria to organise the jazz festivals in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The upcoming jazz festival in Nha Trang city is expected to help Khanh Hoa province to reach its target of nine million arrivals, including three million foreign arrivals with tourism revenue of over VND4 trillion this year./.
