Hanoi Days in Dien Bien Program will take place in the northwestern mountainous province of Dien Bien from August 9 to 11 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2024).

Hanoi's typical and unique cultural heritage will continue to be featured in Dien Bien – the land of historic Dien Bien Phu Victory.
The opening ceremony is expected to be held on August 9 at the May 7 Square in Dien Bien Phu City.
Diverse activities such as an exhibition on 70 years of Dien Bien Phu victory and 70 years of capital liberation day, an art show and scholarship awarding, will be held during the event.
On this occassion, a program to promote the capital's agricultural products, traditional handicraft villages, and typical OCOP products will be held at the May 7 Square in Dien Bien Phu City.
The event aims to further promote and showcase the typical and unique cultural features and heritage of Hanoi as a City for Peace and a Creative City.
This will also strengthen cooperation between Hanoi and Dien Bien in promoting and utilizing the potential and advantages of culture, tourism, and economy, attracting Hanoi tourists to Dien Bien and vice versa./.
