On November 7, the seventh Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF 2024) entitled “Heritage in Motion - Cinema: Soaring – Creativity” opened at Ho Guom Theater in Hanoi.

The film festival aims to honour outstanding films from Vietnam and around the world that hold high artistic value and profound humanity.
It not only recognizes breakthrough works in cinematic language but also provides an opportunity to discover and encourage new talents in the film industry.
It has attracted 117 films selected from 51 countries and territories worldwide. Featuring a diverse range of genres such as narrative films, documentaries, and animations, the festival presents audiences with global issues, various aspects of social life, as well as the beauty and unique customs of each nation around the world.
Festival films will be screened at three cinema complexes - the National Cinema Center; BHD Star Cineplex; and CGV Mipec Tower./.
