The book series includes 17 books and will be supplemented in the near future.

The book series writes about young heroes during the wars, such as Kim Dong - the first leader of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation, the intelligent and brave liaison soldier Vu A Dinh, in the armed team of Tuan Giao in Lai Chau Province, Pham Ngoc Da - a brave guerrilla member from Tien Lang, Hai Phong, and others.

The heroes also include indomitable and loyal female soldiers, such as Vo Thi Sau, Mac Thi Buoi, and ten girls at Dong Loc T-junction.

The book series also depicts young people of the Ho Chi Minh generation, such as Ly Tu Trong, Tran Van On, and Nguyen Van Troi, as well as soldiers on the front lines of the battlefield who sacrificed themselves to contribute to the historic victory of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, such as heroes To Vinh Dien, Phan Dinh Giot and Be Van Dan.

The publications were done on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 - 2024)./.
