Vietnam and Italy will be collaborating to promote fashion, art, and tourism in an age-old village of Hanoi.

The "Cuu Village Show" event promises to bring a series of rich activities, including performing arts, trade exchanges, and culinary culture introduction, meeting the expectations of both domestic and international visitors.

The People's Committee of Phu Xuyen district in Hanoi has held a press briefing on the programme which is scheduled to take place on December 21-22 at the ancient village of Cuu, Van Tu commune, Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi.

The event is an opportunity to promote the unique image of Cuu village - an ancient village with a history of more than 500 years on the peaceful Nhue River and create opportunities for this craft village to integrate internationally, while promoting the local economy, creating a trade and tourism bridge between Vietnam and Italy through trade promotion activities.

Visitors will have the chance to witness the intricate process of crafting exquisite ceramics and decorative arts, from shaping and carving to pattern decoration that vividly illustrates part of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.

As part of the festival, “Meet The Arts” will showcase artistic works and traditional handcrafted products, such as ceramics, textiles, and decorative items created by local artisans. Meanwhile, “Meet The Poet” will allow poets from both countries to share and exchange selected works, offering moments of immersion in language and emotion.

A fashion show will showcase the latest collections that beautifully blend traditional elements with modern designs. Designers will creatively reinterpret traditional attire, promoting Vietnamese and Italian fashion culture with a contemporary flair.

In addition, there will be a workshop to enhance competitiveness and fostering international trade between Vietnam, Italy, and Europe. The culinary arts of Vietnam and Italy will be also introduced./.
