In addition, on January 8, 2024, Vietnamese Beef Pho was honored by CNN as one of the 20 most delicious soup dishes in the world for 2024. The list is given as a suggestion for tourists to try on upcoming trips.

According to CNN, Pho is one of the most known Vietnamese dishes in the world. Vistors to Vietnam can easily find pho at popular roadside restaurants, local markets, luxury restaurants and 5-star hotels.

Naturally, wherever Vietnamese people go, they remember pho, and pho restaurants spring up everywhere there are overseas Vietnamese communities, most notably in California, USA. There are famous brands such as Pho Tau Bay, Pho 24 and Pho Pasteur in California.

In Sydney, Australia, there is a famous pho restaurant called Pho An in Bankstown. Many domestic tourist groups to Sydney are also taken to this famous pho restaurant.

Senior leaders to Vietnam have chosen cuisine to explore as the highlight of their trip. Former US President Barack Obama to Vietnam in 2016 chose bun cha to enjoy. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau enjoyed Vietnamese sidewalk coffee when he came to Ho Chi Minh City in 2017. Former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull enjoyed sidewalk bread in Da Nang while attending the APEC conference in 2017.

All of these highlight the message that culinary culture is one of the most vivid and rich characteristics, crystallizing Vietnam's cultural identity. More and more Vietnamese dishes have become world famous and cuisine has become an effective tool to build and form the Vietnamese brand./.
