Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister visits President Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum

Accepting the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov officially visited Vietnam from March 17 to March 19, 2024.

This is the first visit of an Uzbekistan Foreign Minister since Vietnam and Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations in 1992. Since then, the relations of solidarity, friendship and cooperation have consistently      been recognized by the Government and the people of the two countries to preserve, cultivate and develop based on deep understanding, respect and mutual trust.

The Government and people of Vietnam always appreciate and are grateful for the valuable support and assistance that the Government and people of Uzbekistan have given to Vietnam in the past struggle for national independence and unification, as well as the current process of building and developing the country. The visit of Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov will consolidate and strengthen relations between Vietnam and Uzbekistan./.
