The central Thua Thien – Hue province-based Ho Chi Minh Museum held a ceremony to inaugurate the work of adjusting the display house and adding a cluster of relics commemorating President Ho Chi Minh at Duong No village, Phu Duong commune, Hue city.

The additional exhibition house of President Ho Chi Minh's memorial relics in Duong No village was built and completed in 2005, in order to disseminate the President’s life and career at the relic. After 16 years, the content and fine arts of the display were renewed and adjusted, in line with the new period, especially when implementing the project "Promoting the value of the President Ho Chi Minh relics in Thua Thien Hue for tourism development”.
At present, the exhibition house has been adjusted with a vivid and aesthetic design and display form, contributing to providing information for visitors to visit and learn from important documents about the time. President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked and studied in Duong No village.
The gallery is adjusted to follow 3 themes: Duong No - land and people; Duong No - the place where the President’s footprints are recorded, and; preserve and promote the value of President Ho Chi Minh's memorial relics. The central Thua Thien – Hue province-based Ho Chi Minh Museum also rearranged the layout, supplemented historical documents and images, and provided information on the process of preserving and promoting the relic value.
On this occasion, the Museum also launched a children's reading room for teenagers, children and students visiting the monument, as well as children of Duong No village.
In Thua Thien - Hue province, the system of monuments commemorating President Ho Chi Minh includes 14 monuments and relic sites. In which, 4 were ranked special national monuments by the Prime Minister on December 31, 2020, including: Memorial house at Mai Thuc Loan street; Duong No memorial house; Duong No Village Communal House and Quoc Hoc School. In May 2021, the Thua Thien - Hue Provincial People's Committee also approved the project "Promoting the value of President Ho Chi Minh's relics in Thua Thien - Hue for tourism development", with the goal of developing museum tourism and a system of heritage sites of President Ho Chi Minh's memorial site in the province, on the basis of exploiting and promoting potentials and advantages, and meeting the needs of tourism, in line with the master plan and key programs for local tourism service development./.
