ASEAN Textile Exhibition was organised by ASEAN embassies in Brunei and Timor Leste in collaboration with the Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and the ASEAN Youth Network Brunei. The event drew the participation of Crown Prince of Brunei.

At the exhibition, ASEAN countries showcased their traditional garments and textiles, drawing significant attention from local and international visitors.

The Vietnamese Embassy's booth displayed "Ao Dai", the ancient five-flap robe, and modern variations.

In addition, Vietnamese handicrafts such as bamboo and rattan products were also introduced at the event.

The ASEAN Textile Exhibition was held from August 22-24 to mark the 57th founding anniversary of ASEAN. The Vietnamese Embassy took the occasion to promote the Vietnamese culture and strengthen ties with Brunei, in line with the 2023-2027 Comprehensive Partnership Action Plan between the two nations./.
