Activities in January at Vietnam National Village of Culture and Tourism

(CPV) – Diverse activities introducing the customs, practices, rituals and festivals of ethnic minorities in different regions of the country will take place at the Vietnam National Village of Culture and Tourism from January 1 to 31, 2022.

The program "Spring fragrance in the highlands" will help visitors understand more about the traditional culture of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups in the customs and practices of welcoming the Spring Festival, thereby contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values, enhancing exchanges between nations.
The highlight will be a program to introduce the quintessence of traditional crafts through the beauty of brocade weaving of ethnic groups that are active every day at "Common House" to welcome the new year 2022.
The activity "Spring colors in the highlands" on January 8 and 9 will re-enact the drought festival of the Thai ethnic group of Son La province. This is a typical traditional festival of the Thai people, with human significance, expressing the material and spiritual life of the Thai people.
Especially, the program "Dance of love for each other" and the song of Spring Day (January 22) will introduce Thai Xoe dance at the space of Thai ethnic village. The Thai Xoe dance is a typical feature in the cultural and artistic treasure of the Thai people, a cultural symbol of the people in the Northwest region of the country./.
