At the event, the organizers presented awards to outstanding works of the provincial preliminary round of the sixth National Press Awards on Party building, called “Bua Liem Vang” (Golden Hammer & Sickle).
After 6 months of implementation, the contest creating literary and artistic works on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style has received 123 works by 89 authors and groups of authors. The provincial preliminary round of the sixth National Press Awards on Party building received 61 works by 28 authors and groups of authors.
In his speech at the event, Mr. Lam Tan Hoa, Head of the Soc Trang Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education, praised the creative and positive spirit of the team of artists, writers, and reporters of both competitions in the context of the pandemic.
Mr. Lam Tan Hoa also asked the Soc Trang Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education, the provincial Party Committee’s Commission of Organization, the provincial Vietnam Journalists Association and the provincial Literary and Arts Association to coordinate in formulating plans and popularizing and mobilizing literary staff, artists, reporters inside and outside the province, and professional and amateur authors to respond to and join the two contests.
At the ceremony, the organizers awarded prizes to 20 outstanding performers of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.
The provincial preliminary round of the sixth National Press Awards on Party building has 21 winning works, including 9 C prizes, 8 B prizes and 4 A prizes in the formats of print, electronic, radio and television newspapers./.
