This shipment on October 29 is part of the company’s plan to export over 4,000 Hyundai vehicles to countries in the region during the 2024-2025 period. Among these, Hyundai Palisade is Hyundai's premium sport utility vehicle (SUV), which has been produced and distributed in Vietnam since September 2023.
Notably, with a localisation rate of over 40%, Hyundai Palisade not only meets stringent technical requirements but also qualifies for tariff preferences under the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA), which provides it a significant competitive advantage for international exports.
This export event marks over 15 years of strategic cooperation between TC Group and Hyundai Motor in the production and distribution of Hyundai-branded vehicles in Vietnam. To date, TC Group has successfully established Hyundai’s automobiles and passenger cars as a dominant presence in the Vietnamese market.
In addition to Hyundai Palisade, the company aims to expand the export of other vehicle lines to other Southeast Asian countries like Myanmar, the Philippines, and Indonesia. This demonstrates the global quality of Hyundai-branded automobiles produced and assembled in Vietnam, contributing to elevating the status of Vietnam's automotive industry on the regional map.

Last year, Kiet also took part in the championship and earned 7.5 points for a 20th place overall. Later he won gold in the Southeast Asian Youth Chess Championships.
The Vietnam Chess Federation’s General Secretary Nguyen Minh Thang said the most suitable players were chosen to participate in this event. They will face strong rivals from all over the world. To earn medals, masters must focus completely on their matches and play very carefully.
Previously, Vietnam's chess masters have won major titles in world youth events, including Dao Thien Hai (O16 in 1993), Nguyen Thi Dung (girls' U12, 1994), Hoang Thanh Trang (G20, 1998), Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son (O10, 2000) and Le Quang Liem (O14, 2005).

Meanwhile, the Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) traded gold rings at VND87 million per tael for buying and VND88.8 million per tael for selling, VND200,000 lower than gold bars.
Bao Tin Minh Chau reported a buying price of gold rings at VND87.98 million per tael and a selling price at VND88.98 million, only VND20,000 lower than that of SJC gold bars.
This latest rise is largely fueled by increases occurring in global gold prices. The price of gold on the global market is being traded at US$2,778 per ounce, up 34% since the beginning of this year.
Experts suggest that persistently low global interest rates continue to support gold prices. Mos notably, the upcoming US presidential election with its intense ongoing developments is also contributing to increased investment in gold.
