After docking at Phu My port, the cruise ship will anchor at Chan May port in the central Thua Thien Hue province on November 11 before then heading to the Ha Long port in the northern Quang Ninh on November 12 and leaving the country at 7:30 p.m. on November 13.
Saigontourist Travel Service Company said that the company will continue to welcome the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship to Ha Long - Chan May - Phu My port on the route from November 17 to November 21 and from November 27 to 31.
In December, there will be another ship, Spectrum of the Seas, bringing with it 4,200 passengers to Nha Trang and the ship Mein Schiff 6 with 2,400 passengers to Ha Long.
Over the last two months of this year, Saigontourist received 20,600 international visitors by cruise ship.
In the first half of next year, the travel operator is anticipated to welcome 20 international cruise ships, serving many high-end tourists on the Azamara Onward and Azamara Pursuit cruise ships Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

A short video touting the Cat Ba Archipelago in the northern port city of Hai Phong as a must-see tourist destination has released by US Cable News Network (CNN), reported VOV.

According to the Hai Phong municipal Department of Culture and Sports, the 30-second video consists of impressive images featuring a range of outstanding global values from the Cat Ba Archipelago.
It will be broadcast on CNN Asia network on various different programmes, including The Lead, First Move, and CNN News room three times each day, starting from November 5 and lasting through to December 2.
Local authorities also plan to advertise the Cat Ba Archipelago on Vietnam Television, Vietnam Airlines, and via social media ahead in 2025.
They will work with CNN to continue promoting the Vietnamese archipelago on its network every evening each week next year.
The administration of Hai Phong will carry out international communication activities through cultural events, including the participation in cultural heritage exhibitions in Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US, and European countries.
Furthermore, they will conduct an advertisement campaign showcasing the Cat Ba Archipelago on a number of other international television channels such as Discovery and TLC (Travel & Leisure Chanel).
Cat Ba is an archipelago of 367 islands made up of various sizes. The main island, Cat Ba, is about 100sq.m in area and is roughly 30km from Hai Phong. It is linked to UNESCO-recognised World Heritage Ha Long Bay of Quang Ninh province by a fascinating complex of islands and caves.
Hanoi attracts 5.1 million visitors in ten months
Hanoi lured over 5.1 million tourists in the first ten months of this year, an increase of 28.5% over the same period last year, reported VNA.

Of the total, over 3.5 million were foreigners, up 37% year-on-year, including 416,600 from the Republic of Korea, 407,000 from China, 221,400 from the US and 215,500 from Japan.
Meanwhile, the number of domestic holidaymakers during the period hit more than 1.5 million, up 13% over the same period last year.

In October alone, the capital city welcomed 586,000 tourists, up 18.1% month-on-month and 16.8% year-on-year. Of them, there were 405,000 foreigners, up 26.5% and 19.1% respectively. Meanwhile, domestic visitors totalled 181,000, up 2.8% and 12.1%.
Dang Huong Giang, Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, said that the city is taking measures to promote its tourism. Travel agencies and hotels are offering many attractive stimulus programmes to attract tourists, especially during the Christmas and New Year celebrations./.
Vietnamese painting sells for EUR369,060 at Aguttes' auction in France
A painting by Tran Van Can (1910-1994), one of the most prominent artists in Vietnamese history, há been sold for EUR369,060 at the Peintres D'Asie I Art Moderne Vietnamien (Painters of Asia / Modern Vietnamese Art) auction by Aguttes in France, reported VOV.

Created in 1936, the 43 x 29 centimeter work Reverie (Mộng mơ) depicts a beautiful girl. The artist used ink and colour on the silk painting.
His artwork was displayed at the Paris international exhibition in 1937 alongside other pieces of work by famous artists such as Inguimberty and Alix Aymé.
Tran Van Can's work has been offered at international auction multiple times, with realised prices ranging from US$986 to US$340,593, depending on the size of the artwork. His painting Le Retour du Marché was auctioned at US$340,593 in Paris in 2018.
Meanwhile, the painting Dans la montagne (Trên núi) by Mai Trung Thu, another famous Vietnamese painter, ranked second at Aguttes' auction, changing hands for EUR241,460. The work was painted in 1959.
Renowned Vietnamese painters Vu Cam Dam and Le Pho also had their paintings displayed at the auction./.
